Well, let's see. I just typed a post all about what's been going on, and it has disappeared! UGH!!! I have no idea why it didn't save when I clearly hit the save button...ANYWAY.....
Here is a shorter version because I am TIRED!
Kainaan and I left last Wednesday (15th) and headed to Hattiesburg. We stayed with Brad, Lisa and Peyton for a couple of days and played around. Kainaan was out of sorts, and that's putting it mildly. Kainaan did enjoy playing with Peyton's Thomas the Train toys, so much that he got a little possessive and mean. Boys and their toys...???
After that, we headed to Houma. Its been a crazy whirlwind of a trip, as always! There is just never enough time to do everything and see everyone. And I can only do so much with Kainaan before he is, to put it mildly, out of control and an exploding bomb of tantrums! We did manage to go to the Audobon Zoo and the French Quarter. We saw the French Market and its been rebuilt. It looks so pretty...and clean! Then we rode around so I could take a lot of pictures...surprise, surprise. I think i got some great ones though! :-) And Kainaan was in heaven when he got to ride on Thomas...no, not a trien, but the Old New Orleans Street cars! We rode from one end of Canal Street to the other! We started close to the Riverwalk Area, and went aaaall the waaaayyyyy down to the Cemetaries at the other end. It was so awesome and creepy and beautiful! But yeah, it was a Trolley Car, and he thought it was a Thomas the Train Car...whatever works, right?
Anyways, we have 1 more day in Houma, and then we are off to North LA to visit family in Bastrop. Kainaan should be a real treat! :-) I know its been a long trip for him, but every trip is busy when you don't live close, right?
Well, its late, I am beyond tired. I have probably repeated myself in this email and misspelled words...sorry.
Stay tuned for some great pictures...there will be PLENTY!! :-)
