A North Carolina Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everybody! We have had a wonderful day here in North Carolina. Kainaan has enjoyed his presents all day! Everything with him has been a huge hit! Sit back and relax...there are LOTS of pics to see!

Granny and Pop...we were dressed up for church on Christmas Eve.

Granny, Kainaan, and Pop...and I must say, Kainaan was unbelievably good in church...we were so proud of him! He loved it!

Christmas Eve Night, "Santa" has to put together the Thomas Bike...Ummmmm???

OK-What tools did we need again?

30 minutes later....

Santa came!! And he brought toys!

What did Aunt Wendy and Family send to me?

And wow! Granny and Pop found me a Cars rug!

Oh boy! "Pludo" Kainaan's way of saying Play-Doh.

Gram Gram must know that Kainaan loves trucks AND buttons!

Another present for me?!?

Thanks Aunt Wendy and Boys for my books!

"I help you Mommy!"

Pop's new sweater!

Pop's pot! Now he can cook some more!

Wow! Granny was a very good girl! :-)

Granny's new smell good stuff!

Wow! My NEW Thomas Bike! YAY!

This is going to be fun!

His new Cars Lego Sets...A huge hit!

Oh, its my "Thomas Christmas" AKA Christmas Edition of Thomas.

Open it! Hurry!!

Merry Christmas Baby! :-)

This is the first time we have danced since our wedding!

Awww!

Our pretty table set for breakfast!

Tah-Dah!!

Kainaan and Daddy making Play-doh fun!

**Here are the pics of Kainaan and his new bike! It took him a some time to get it. He kept trying to pedal backwards, but he did not understand that doing that made him stop. But finally he got it and he was OFF! I am sure he was thinking he was Lightening McQueen, "Faster than fast! Speed! I am Speed! I got 600 horsepower, give or take a stallion or 2!" We all got a work out chasing him up and down the street!

Yeah Daddy, I get it. I see your hands moving but that is not helping me.

No buddy, pedal forwards...because he really understands that word! LOL!

I am trying! I think I can, I think I can!

Mommy help me!

He almost has it figured out, but not just yet!

Mr. Mechanic checking it all out!

OK- I think I will just walk by it and push it!

Its just easier that way!

Granny got her work out, too! This was when he finally got it, and took off!
*He is a pro now! And it hit me...he's really not a baby anymore! He is growing up fast and now riding a big boy bike with training wheels!

Granny & Pop's Place

Here are some random pics of the start of our week with Granny & Pop in North Carolina. I know its been a while since I posted something new...so enjoy the randomness of my brain! :-)

This is our tradition! Every year since Kainaan has been born, we buy a new ornament with our names on it. Maybe next year we will have another name to add...?????? :-)
But anyways, here is the 2006 and 2007 ornaments.
This is our newest one! 2008

Pop and Tim playing tennis on the Nintendo Wii.

Kainaan playing his own version on Tennis!

"I got a remote to the game now!!"

Sugarplums dancing in Chewy's head!

Ready? Fight! Pinching each other with the grabbers.

So how do we get this to work?
Pop's new toy...he doesn't know it yet, but Tim is going to break it in 2 seconds!
"Whatcha got, Pop?"
Patiently waiting for Daddy and Pop to put batteries in the remote.
Granny sets the table all pretty for breakfast!

"One day I will big enough to play with it."

My little turtle.
Yummy chocolate donut...very messy!
Finger lickin' good!
This is what we did every night! We raced each other on the Mario Cart Game for the Wii!
