Our Fun-Filled Friday

Today we had a fun time! Kainaan and I started our day with a trip to the Berry Farm right by our house with Kainaan's Pre-school. We went on a hay ride with no hay and got off to pick a pumpkin from the patch. You will see in the pics the worried look on his face. He was so upset that the tractor had left us, he wanted to ride the tractor and had no interest in finding the perfect pumpkin. What a fun mess! But the whining stopped as soon as the magical tractor came back. Next stop, feeding the billy goats...which my 'pretty boy' wanted no part in...so Mommy got HER hands dirty. You never know what Kainaan is going to do b/c at the zoo, he LOVED the goats. So anyways, after the goats, we headed back to the front. So, it was there that we got our pumpkin coloring book, pumpkin sippie cup filled with fresh apple cider, and our pumpkin that we picked from the patch.
Moving on...
Tonight, we had the Pre-School Fall Festival. We only lasted an hour. We ate chili, did face painting, decorated cookies, made a candle jar, and played on the inflatable slide and bounce house. We had to duck out before it ended b/c Kainaan does not quite understand what waiting for his turn means and it is just hard to constantly hold him and fight him. So, we made a break for it before things got really bad.
But all in all, it was a fun day! Enjoy the pics!

Yeah, a little close! My arms are only so long. Ha!



"You want me to do what?? Get my hands dirty??"



"Mmmm! Apple cider is yummy!"



Now its on to the strawberry slushy while we wait for our pumpkins.
