He tried the basketball thing, but there was some older kids playing a game and he kept making his ball go into their area, and he kept running through them! So we switched his attention to the rock wall. He wasn't sure about it, so Mommy had to go first and show him what to do.
I am sorry about the quality of the pictures, all we had was Tim's work phone.
Here goes Mommy...OMG!

Yeah I got about 3/4 the way up and started having flashbacks to Klingman's Dome... Quick story: The Houma Adair's and the Bastrop Adair's had gone vacationing in campers to Tennessee. We stopped at the TN/NC line to see Klingman's Dome, the highest point of the Smokey Mountains. You can go up steps to get to the top or climb STRAIGHT UP the mountain wall. Well, I was following my brother and cousins, but they climbed up faster than me. I froze about half way up and could not move. (Hey, I was like 10 or 12.) It suddenly occurred to me just how high off the ground I really was. So while Dad videoed me clinging to this wall like a monkey, Uncle Mike had to climb down and rescue me. That was funny b/c he wanted me to climb on his back, but that meant I had to let go of the wall that I had a death grip on...after some time, I finally did it. And never climbed anything high again! Now that we live so close to it, I might need to conquer that fear! I am sure Tim would be highly entertained! So needless to say, I didn't make it up the whole rock wall at our gym...and I even had a safety rope and gym employee holding it and coaching me...yeah, I suck. But I tried for my baby!

I guess I did a good job for my 3 year old, he wanted to try when I got down. Mission accomplished.

He tried so hard, and did pretty good. He didn't get far, but he knows how to work his feet and his hands to get up.

He is soooo proud!

Daddy's turn!

Tim made it all the way up to the top!

I guess Kainaan thought we all looked like Spider-man. He had to go get his toy out of our bag so Spider-man could try.
