Happy Birthday To Me!

Yep! I am 28 years old today! Just made it under the mark to have a diamond for a birthstone! (Sorry Dad! I had to be expensive with good taste!)
Lori Nicole Adair
Terrebonne General Hospital in Houma, LA
10:25 AM (I made mom miss The Young & The Restless...sorry Mom but I am sure Aunt Melinda gave you a play by play later!) :-)
I was 7 pounds 7 ounces. But can't remember how long I was...

So enjoy some pics of me as a baby! I think I am pretty darn cute if I must say so myself! :-)

Me at 2 1/2 months old.

I am 11 months old here. Is Kainaan a remake of me or what!?!? But yes, he does have a lot of Tim in him too!

Not sure how old I am here, but check out my Mom's short shorts! Was she pretty or what!?!?

Shakin' my booty at age 3...I started at age 2 and I think this is my first recital. I am the second from the left!

Patty Patty Cake, Bakers Man! I love getting a glimpse of our old kitchen before we remodeled.

I do not remember the occasion, but I remember having stage fright taking this picture! Just look at my hands, I was scared stiff! Yeah, I know, me shy??

One of my favorite Christmas Gifts until I was like 10 or 12 and got my garfield slippers. You know I just finally let those dry rotten things go after Tim and were married. I miss them!

My other prized possessions! My CAREBEARS!! I had so many of them and playing cards, too!

One of the many flower girl jobs I had to do growing up! I look thrilled!

Elephants Make It All Better

So yesterday Kainaan missed school because he was sick. After a Dr.'s visit, we discovered he has the flu. NO, ITS NOT THE SWINE FLU! Dr. Lin said it was kinda late in the season for the flu, but it can always appear. So he swabbed Kainaan's nose (that did not make him happy) and discovered we have Influenza Type B (The Swine Flu is Type A). He is now on Tamiflu and is feeling really good! He never acted really sick, just coughing some and sneezing, but then the fever set in so I then realized it must be something more than allergies. Oh those mommy instincts are amazing! So after our Dr.'s visit, we went to Target to get his meds filled and he fell in love with an elephant humidifier. It was a little expensive and he has a regular humidifier now, so why spend unnecessary money? He did get to pick out some new Toy Story Vitamins and Scooby Doo Ouchies (band aids). Unfortunately his heart was set on the elephant and he was heartbroken when we had to leave him at the store "to nap."
Since he was such a good boy at the Dr.'s office and at the store, we bought him a new elephant game lastnight. I had a $12 gift card and a $5 off coupon for this Elefun Game, so I got a $20 game for $5 (don't forget the tax, my math is not that bad!)!! Can't beat that!?!? His face was priceless when he got it! He was soooo excited! We played for a whole hour before bedtime.
Enjoy the pics!!

It blows little fabric butterflies in the air and you have to catch them with your net!

Is he excited or what??

To hell with catching them, I will just pick them up off the floor!

He did catch something!

Happy Birthday Karissa!

Yesterday, our friend Karissa had a birthday lunch at O'Charley's and we got to go WITHOUT Kainaan! Granny was so nice to stay at home with Kainaan while we had a normal outing! It was fun! We got to hang out and talk without Kainaan acting crazy, and it was just so relaxing! A well deserved break! Anyways, after we left that, we went to the fish place and bought some more fish for our tank! We are now up to 14 fish!
Ok-well enjoy the pics!

Granny's Here!

Granny came to visit this weekend before heading up to Wendy's house, and Kainaan has LOVED it! They have been playing outside and playing inside and watching his cartoons...the boy has not stopped! And he has been obsessed with blowing bubbles!

Bubbles in his eyes...or the sun in his eyes.

Mr. Fix-It came to our house again!

The Grill King

This was last night...he fell asleep at 830 in the recliner. Tonight, he went to his room and laid in his bed all by himself and fell asleep! He is tuckered out!

Who Says Boys Can't Play Dress-Up?

As many of you know, Spider-Man is taking over Kainaan's heart these days! (Don't worry, Dad, he still loves Thomas, too!) Meme just had to buy him his new Spider-Man Costume! Yes, its a tad big, but this way he can keep it for a while! Thank you, Meme, now we can have Spider-Man join us for dinner instead of Lightening McQueen! Haha! I can't wait for him to want to wear it in public! He is going to LOVE it! (And so will I! Hehe!)
So now he has a few costumes to choose from; Spider-Man, A Train Conductor, Lightening McQueen, and NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson!

So, who says boys can't play dress up?? I guess next we need to get a cowboy outfit! Ha!

He doesn't want my help putting on the mask...and he can't figure out why he can't see out of it.

Celebrity Sighting at Hooter's of Knoxville

The celebrity was Lightening McQueen's Crew Chief! LOL!
Sunday night we went to eat at Hooter's with TJ & Karissa. Before we left the house, we told Kainaan to go get his pants on. And this is what he wanted to wear...His Lightening McQueen Halloween Costume! So why fight it? He's cute in it anyways. And he was actually really good while there. I think it was a combo between the costume we let him wear, the girls, and loud music. He was such a flirt and danced by the table for most of the night.
Who knew we would be dining in the presence of celebrity greatness???
**He almost brought his helmet to match, but forgot it on his way out...that would have been awesome! LOL!

Hi, I'm Tim "The Tool-Man" Wroblewski & You All Know My Assistant, Kainaan

This afternoon, we decided to finally fix our fence. What was wrong, you ask? Well, our neighbor behind us was cutting his grass last year, on his riding lawnmower, and accidentally ran into it. It only broke the bottom cross board, so it was not urgent that it be fixed. He was very apologetic and offered to pay for it...it was only a $3 2x4 board. Well, we never fixed it b/c not long after is when Tim had broke his leg! So all of our yard ideas went out the window. Anyways, its now fixed and Kainaan had to get his tools out to help Daddy! If only he had on a flannel shirt like Al does from the old show, Home Improvement! HAHA!

Mr. Fix-It and his "nana."

He kept trying to run from my camera and chase Dipsy.

Yeah babe, I will help you in a minute...I have to get my pictures first! (I think Tim hates my camera because I ALWAYS have it in my hands...)

Why Do We Even Try???

Tim got tickets, through work, for a TN Smokies Baseball Game...YAY! This should be fun, right?? HA! WRONG!!! Kainaan was fun for about 10 minutes...then the whining and tantrums started...surprise, surprise. He wanted to jump on the bounce houses...that cost $1 per turn and we NEVER have cash on us, then he wanted to slide...that's fine but we are hungry, then he wants to go run around the food area where everyone is walking with food, then we get to our seats, after the millionth meltdown in 15 minutes, he eats with no problems...then...he whines, "Kainaan's turn. Kainaan's ball. Kainaan's swing (that's his word for bat)." He would not stop! He wanted to PLAY ball not watch it. Now I know what everyone is thinking..."You didn't expect him to sit for a whole game, did you? HE"S ONLY 3!!" No, we didn't. We thought if we could make it through atleast inning 5 or 6, we would be doing great! Its not like the innings take long, neither team is very good, therefore the 3 outs took no time! We only made it to inning 3 and THAT was too long! We just had to leave, why ruin everyone's game? People did not pay to hear him scream and cry and whine because he couldn't get his way. We have no idea why this time was so bad. He has been 2 other times and was great! Anyways, I did manage to get some pics of him without the meltdowns...

Things are good, we are walking in...

Things are still good, but you can feel the meltdown coming any minute.
He liked Smokey from UT.

Ummm, we have no change buddy...let's go get a hot dog. Hurry before he freaks!

Oh thanks, we avoided the ride on toy meltdown with this, but after this, there was nothing to save us...Kainaan's world came crashing down around him.

Oh wait! Let me stop crying to meet the bear, but don't worry, I will get back to screaming in a minute. "Hey Bear!"

Divert attention, again! Hello Smokey!

I just came out of time out for the millionth time, but lets meet Smokey the Mascot. Incase ya'll are confused, we were at the TN Smokies Minor League Baseball game. But it was TN Volunteer night so that's why both Smokey Mascots were there for University of TN. The mascot for the baseball team is a black bear.

Finally made it to our awesome seats...5th row right behind home plate! Too bad we couldn't enjoy them.

See how close we are!

Wanna meet the team? They were 1 section over from us!

There is the famous crying face we are used to! We were leaving at this point...
