Welcome Crazy October!

Well, here it is! October...its going to be a busy month. I will have lots to keep you posted on. First, Kainaan and I are starting out the month in Pikeville, NC with Granny and Pop. Pop had knee replacement surgery last Friday and needs help getting back on his feet...or should I say his knee? Ha! We will be here until Sunday the 5th. Wendy is coming to take over nurse duties on Sunday. Unfortunately, we will miss her. Maybe we can wave on the road...or stop and have lunch. ~~Hey Wendy, call or email me. Maybe we can work something out!~~

Anyways, I will put some pics of Dan's knee on here later tonight or tomorrow. He has lots of staples! OUCH!! I would say he is doing well, besides arguing with Mary and the Physical Therapist (HA!) about not wanting to do his exercises. And he is trying to do a lot by himself, and he shouldn't! Like this morning...I helped him out of the chair so he could go clean up. I am thinking, shave and stuff at the sink. But he had other plans, he took a shower! He was not supposed to do that until tonight when Mary could help in to the shower since he has to step up into it...Oh, he is going to get me fired! I kept standing in the bedroom and asking through the door if he was ok. I heard water but I thought it was coming from the sink! He is sneaky!! :-) I'm going to whoop up on him! I reminded him that I was in charge of his meds...LOL! I could knock him out or just make him suffer if he doesn't cooperate! Haha!

So anyways, here we are starting our hectic month. When we go home, Kainaan has some fun events with his pre-school planned and then he and I are off to Hattiesburg, Houma, Hammond, and Bastrop! Then 4 days after our trip, its Halloween!! YAY! So stay tuned to our blog...we are going to have many fun stories and and some great pictures headed your way.
