Pawpaw's His Name, Spoiling's His Game

This past week Pawpaw and Karen came to visit. They love to spoil Kainaan (and us) rotten! We enjoyed our visit very much, and wish there would've been more time. Now that I am a working girl, they had Kainaan the whole time all to themselves! It was nice having a glimpse into what life could be like if we had family living in town. Anyone want to move here?? :-) LOL!

Happy Father's Day

Today was a relaxing day! We played a little on the Nintendo Wii, and Kainaan ran in and out all day! He went swimming and splashed Granny and Daddy, then Daddy started splashing back...somehow I got "splashed" into the game and it was on! Me, Tim, and Kainaan had an all out war with the pool, the water gun, and the water hose! It was GREAT! We looked like drowned rats! :-) Enjoy the pics!

A Full Day of FUN!!

Well, Pop planned a whole day of fun for us! We left this morning and drove 2 hours away to Wilmington where we hit a Farmer's Market on the river, ate lunch, and then hopped over to the Children's Museum. Kainaan had a blast! Then...it was off to the beach. We went to this cool place right on the beach and ate dessert and had a few drinks! YUM! Kainaan enjoyed his virgin strawberry-banana drink. :-) Besides the drink, he LOVED the ocean! He is my fearless little fish! If only he could swim! So that's our day...NOT! We left there and drove about an hour back towards home and stopped in Burgaw for the Blueberry Festival. Whew! And with that...we were done! It was 100 degrees today and HUMID! But it was fun! Enjoy the pics!

Hangin' Out At Granny & Pop's

We decided to come visit Granny and Popfor the weekend. We got here lastnight around 11 pm, and didn't go to bed until after 1 in the am! Kainaan decided at 730 this morning, that he had had enough sleep. Ugh! Who are you and what have you done with my kid that likes to sleep?!? :-)
He had such a fun, busy day of play. We played bubbles, rode his bike, ran around the yard, went swimming, and ended our fun-filled day with a treat to Dairy Queen for some yummy ice cream! Enjoy the pics!
