Oops--I forgot to tell you something!

OK- so did everyone see the last post? You know, the one where Kainaan played in the backyard all day. Well, I forgot the best part--
I have always heard of little boys putting crazy things in their pockets for Mommies to find or little boys picking things up and bringing it to Mommy. Its usually bugs and such, right? Well, I have now joined that portion of Mommies that gets grossed out...Kainaan was throwing little rocks in the backyard and bringing some to me, and so on. That was so cute and sweet! But the party foul came when he brought me a piece of dried dog doo-doo! Ewwwww!!! YUCK!!
Of course, I made a face and squirmed, & he thought it was hilarious. So off to the sink we went!
Ick! I just thought I would give ya'll a good laugh today.
I mean really, why couldn't he pick up a frog, a lizard, a stink bug??? A PIECE OF POO!?!? GROSS!

Well, hope all is well with everyone! Enjoy the weekend!
GEAUX LSU TIGERS!!! :-)
Oh, and how 'bout that USC/Oregon game Thursday night? HAHAHAHA!!! IN YOUR FACE USC! The AP Poll is so quick to always put USC first over LSU. And USC was beat by an unranked team!!! HAHAHA!!!!! And what's up with Florida? Tebow just lost to Ole Miss?!? Man, where will that put LSU in the AP Poll?? Let's all say a little prayer for LSU tonight against Mississippi State! C'mon TIGERS!!!! KICK SOME BUTT!!!!!

OK-seriously, I am going now! :-)

Backyard Fun!

Today we had a fun day in our own yard. Kainaan played and ran in and out of the house for at least 3 or 4 hours! He loves being out there, and I don't mind much now that our weather is getting cooler. But why every time I am outside bees and wasps have to start buzzing around me? Its like I have a target on me. ~~"shutter"~~"shiver"~~
Anyways, I have lots of fun pics below and some really pretty sunset pics from my deck! Enjoy!

Oh what is he up to with that mischievous grin?

Round and round and round he goes!
My handsome boy!

Poor Dipsy, he is so hot and tired!

Chewy is finding shade anywhere he can! He is such a hairball!
Kainaan breaking long enough to find airplanes.
Break over! Brush your hands and get back to playing hard!

OK- Maybe 1 more break!

Dipsy loves to play ball with his pal, Kainaan!

Dipsy attacking the ball.

Chewy thinking that Dipsy has lost his damn mind.

Best Buds...

I guess Dipsy does love Kainaan...or is it the ball that he loves? :-)

Yeah, ya'll thought he was over his blanket? NOT! Kainaan A.K.A. Linus.

Kainaan put his blanket down and said, "Timeout Blankie!" Not sure what that was about!

Pretty shades of Pink!

Fire in the sky!
Its 5 o'clock somewhere... :-)

D.I.Y. Wroblewski-Style

Yep, the DIY Network finally got the best of us! We watch shows on that channel all of the time, and we got motivated! Tim put new hardware on our cabinets and drawers this weekend. We did the kitchen, our bathroom, and Kainaan's bathroom. We decided to do all of them the same so they looked uniform throughout the house. Then we painted Kainaan's room. We are going to do the whole house in the same color. We picked Au Lait Ole by Valspar Paints. It looks like coffee with lots of cream and sugar! Ha!! It looks like my coffee when I drink it! We will take it one room at a time until the house is done...Painting is WORK! But its kind of fun!
Anyways, I put pics below of our work, and I added a couple of pics of Kainaan making another train of toys in his room! If you look at the train of toys pictures, you will see the old wall color...you know the plain apartment white. Then look at the new color! It doesn't show a lot of difference in the pics when people come to visit, they will really see it!
PS-Kainaan will have new furniture and clean carpet soon...stay tuned! :-)

Date Night and Play Dates

My friend, Casey, is here visiting and Tim had to go out of town last night for work. So Casey, Kainaan, and myself went to eat at Olive Garden. It was a little cool so I had to put Kainaan's new jeans on...He looked like a little man! So of course, there are pictures posted below! Then today (Tuesday), we went to play at the park since it was so cool outside! It felt great today! I have had the windows open all day and its so nice! I posted pictures of Kainaan playing at the park...yeah, they are before the melt down of having to leave! His melt down reminded me why we don't go to the park! Its a pain in my a** to deal with a crying, kicking, screaming kid, and I don't know why I thought today would have been different! UGH! He can ruin a fun day in a minute! So we went through a drive-thru (God forbid we go into public now that he's ticked off) and went straight home! Our 'fun outing' was over within 2 hours...oh well. I tried! I pray for the day we can go to the park and leave like normal people. When will that happen???
Anyways, enjoy the pics before the crap hit the fan! Ha! :-)

Wow! He looks grown up!

Kainaan actually being sweet.

Yep, the rocks look good here!

Weeeee! This is fun!

He kept saying, "Hang On!" as he climbed up.

He was too nervous to walk across the swinging bridge.

He had to concentrate really hard to go across!

Kainaan had to go down the tallest slide over and over.

He thought it fun to hang around on the tire!

He climbed the rock wall...with Mommy right behind him!

Only My Child... :-)

Yep, Kainaan is outside playing in the water, in his pajamas! Friday afternoon was yard time! While we were cutting the grass, Kainaan was inside watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...or so we thought! While Tim was finishing the back, I was blowing the grass off the driveway. I came in to check on Kainaan and the back door was open. I looked out and there he was playing in the water, completely soaked! And the slippers, just an added touch. All I could do was laugh! He unlocked the back door and took it upon himself to start playing. He had lots of fun! I would tell him to "get Daddy" and he would spray Tim every time he passed by the deck! It was great...Until he turned the water on ME! :-) Anyways, just wanted to share the pictures and story!

Kainaan had the best time trying to 'get' Daddy with the water!

Wonder how high the water will go??

What goes up.....

...Must come down!

Anniversary Picture Play!

Here are some pictures that I took of my roses from Tim. It was part of my anniversary gifts. I was so excited to get them, Tim had not bought me roses since we lived in Monroe! Yeah, its been a while! So I tried to take some shots with our rings and marriage license. Oh, that was the other present, he got a copy of our marriage license from Monroe's Courts since we lost ours not long after we were married. Tim finished surprising me with Liz and Jackie babysitting Kainaan so we could have a wonderful dinner at Trailhead Steakhouse in Townsend. Its a small mountain town in the Smokies and this restaurant is like a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse but more comfortable and mountain-ish. Its not snobby and stuffy like Ruth's Chris. And at the restaurant is where he gave me a pair of princess cut diamond earrings! Yay! OK- don't freak! Tim got presents, too. :-) I bought him some cologne and 2 Dallas Cowboys sketches that I framed. And there was pictures I took in CA, well Rocio took them of me. They were tasteful Boudoir pictures, and he loved them! Thank goodness I lost some weight, huh?! And I must admit, modeling is sooo much harder than it looks. I really prefer being behind the camera! So, I will be brave and post a couple of them...they are the sweet ones! :-) The others are too racey for friends and family! Yeah, I'm that comfortable with Rocio, she is one of my best friends...
