TN VOLS v. UAB 9-25-10

Saturday was a BLAST! We were so lucky to get boxseats to the TN game! BOX SEATS!!!!!!! O...M...G...WOOOHOOOO!!! It was so fun! Great friends, lots of FOOD...tons of food actually! LOL! Who knew the boxseats area was catered!?!? With awesome food! Can you tell I was excited about that?! HAHAHAA!!!anyways...so the other thing that was sooooooo exciting...ummm...BILL HASLAM walks in! You know...its Pilot's box...Bill Haslam...part owner of the company...and the REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR CANDIDATE!! I...me...LORI WROBLEWSKI...got to meet and shake hands with BILL HASLAM!!! HOW sweet is THAT!?!? I was on Cloud 9 that afternoon! I just wish I would have gotten a picture with him! :( Maybe one day I will!

Pilot Picnic 2010

Last night was the annual Pilot Picnic! It was in the Thompson-Boling Arena this year on UT campus! Yeah...they got the whole basketball arena just for us! AND...we even got to tour the locker rooms! It was AWESOME!!!!
The highlight of my night was getting to meet Mr. Haslam...the FOUNDER of Pilot! I was wearing my LSU polo and he had to give me a hard time! LOL! :) He said, "Girl, you are wearing the wrong color!" HAHAHAAA!!! I told him, "Mr. Haslam, I'd wear orange just for you!" He liked that!

Such a fun time...until the drawing for lots of prizes...Kainaan didn't quite understand why he couldn't get the Nintendo DS or scooter...LOL! For atleast 3 hours after, he cried! He just didn't get that if his number wasn't called, then he didn't get the prize...he was heart broken!
I think I know what Santa will bringing him! :)

Picnic in the Mountains

Last weekend we met our friends, Meghann & Michael, in Cade's Cove. Their 2 little girls, Annalise & Alison, had so much fun playing with Kainaan...and Kainaan had a blast, too! :) We are going to meet up there again soon so I can get some adorable pictures of all of them!

Friday was Hawaiian Day at school...I totally forgot about it until the day before...so at 11:00 the night before, this is what I came up with!

Wednesday was Super Hero Day at school...so Kainaan picked out his Jimmie Johnson Costume...can't argue with that!

Family Reunion 2010

This year for the 4th of July, Kainaan and I went home! We had a fabulous time!! Getting to hang out at my cousins house in Ragley, LA and visiting with TONS of family was amazing to say the least! :o)
Kainaan became the ultimate waterbug in the pool! Unkie Doug throwing him in, jumping off the diving board, going under water!!!! WHAAAT!?!? He even picked up on doggie paddling!

Dragon Boat Race Day 2010

Who: Chicks Ahoy-The All Girls Team from Pilot Travel Centers
What: K.A.R.M. Dragon Boat Races
When: Saturday, June 26, 2010
Where: The Cove at Loudon Lake
Why: To raise money for Knox Area Rescue Ministries...helping the homeless.

So a "heat" is a race between 4 teams...there were about 60 teams, I think! And an estimated 8,000 people that showed up!
Our 1st heat was at 830 AM (we had to be there at 730!!!), and we didn't do too well...we came in 4th for that one heat...oops! LOL! :o) But it wasn't a bad 4th...we were maybe a half a boat behind the 3rd place boat...not bad...
But after hanging around and eating lunch that Pilot provided for us from Subway...and waiting some more...
Our 2nd heat was at 240 PM and we ROCKED IT! We were in a battle for 1st and at the very end came in 2nd...it was so close...lane #2 beat us by a DRAGON BEARD!
But hey...we did win BEST TEAM NAME!!! ~CHICKS AHOY!~
AND...we did win for the all female division...because we were the only all female team! HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!! :o)

Splash Country Fun Day!

Just wanted to share some pics from our fun day at the water park! :-) Kainaan and I had fun! Tim had to work!
We had a pretty good day...5 hours at the park, only 2 minor meltdowns, and 1 trip to the First Aid Office...
Yeah, Kainaan was being stubborn and not listening to me while we were at the wave pool...he wanted to sit on the side of the tube with his feet in the middle...NOT a good idea! As I tried to grab him to make him get up, he started to throw a fit and turned around in the tube...with his back to the waves. Since we were in the shallow end, the waves were really strong and before he knew it...a wave came under his tube and flipped him backwards! He knocked the back of his head on the bottom of the pool, so off to get some ice we went! He is so stubborn and clumsy! LOL! I foresee many accidents in our future!

Happy Mother's Day

My Mother's Day weekend started with a Mother's Day Tea with Kainaan at school...it was so sweet! He made a book for me!
Then Saturday, after work, we had our friends come over for grilling and Phase 10 (card game)...and few drinks! Yummy! :-) And Kainaan gave me some flowers and a card and a CD of 1 of my fav groups! :-) Love him!!!!
And Sunday...Mother's Day...after I got off of work, we went to eat at my fav place...Misaki, and then then went walking downtown! It was so nice! :-)

My 29th Birthday

Happy 29th Birthday to me!! :)
So back in the day, I used think, "Oh great! I turn 29 on a FRIDAY! I am going to party my butt off!!" AHHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!! My how the times have changed! :) I partied hard at a T-Ball game and an elementary school carnival! HEEHEE!! :) But I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I had a wonderful day! It started with a pedi & then lunch with Tim. We hit the mall & I got a new phone...and went to B&BW with my gift card from Dad...i had a beautiful surprise delivered to my house, flowers from my Mommy...and then...
let the chaos begin!
It was T-Ball, Elementary school carnival with friends, and then supper at El Chico! YUMMY! :)
It was a non-stop day! And I loved every minute of it!
