Putt-Putt Golfin' & Go Cartin' Too!

Tonight was a first for us, we took Kainaan to play putt-putt golf with TJ and Karissa. We were not sure how smooth it would go, but Kainaan was a good boy! He even went all day in big boy underwear with NO accidents! What?!? Anyways, we had a blast! Then we decided to ride the go carts. Can you believe our little string bean was tall enough to ride!? He is 41 inches tall and the passenger had to be 40 inches or higher! He's my tall, skinny mini! Anyways, enjoy the pictures!

He has the right idea...the ball has to go into the cup.

He tried...

And tried...

Then he decided, "To hell with this, I'll use my hand to push it in!" Can't say I blame him!

Karissa got the 1st hole-in-one! Then we teased her because she looked like she was saying 'Loser" with her fingers instead of "1." LOL! :-)

Okay TJ, are you "helping" or messin' around!?!?

Oh yeah, there I am!

Obviously the ball didn't go where I wanted it to go! And why didn't someone tell me that making that face makes my face look FAT!? :-)

Tim made the next and last hole-in-one!

Yep, he's over 40 inches! He can ride the go carts! (The mark is behind his head.)

TJ's got his game face on!

Karissa is ready!

There's my guys! All buckled in and ready to zoom zoom!

Tim said he giggled the entire time!

He loves street bikes! Sorry bud, you can't have one yet!

Your cousin, Dillon, would love this ride! He LOVES elephants!

My sharp shooter/hunter in training!

Are you dizzy yet!?!?

He boogied down on the dancing game!

Yep, I am A Big Cheese!

Okay, let me be really cheesy here for a moment. :-) We have all seen the State Farm commercials with an agent in them...not the local crappy ones, but the nice, planned out national commercials. Well, the other night I glanced up at the the TV right as one of those commercials was going off and I thought I saw my agent's name, Mansour Hasan. I made Tim rewind the commercial and sure enough, there he is! Ha! Tim and I got a kick out of that, because its always some random agents from somewhere in the U.S. but never YOUR agent, right? And you always wonder if those people really are agents. Well, now we can say that OUR State Farm Agent, Mansour Hasan is on a national State Farm commercial! This born and raised, small town, East Tennessee, boy turned insurance agent has had his hard work recognized by his company...and he's OUR agent!
I called Alison to find out how he got picked for that because she used to work there (that's how her and I met) but she didn't know how that works. She found it on You Tube. So you can click on the link below and see our agent in his commercial. Its his 32 seconds of fame! :-)

Nashville's Next Country Star

Here is a video clip of Kainaan singing 'She's Country' by Jason Aldean. Since its my favorite song, and I listen to it all of the time, he has now picked it up! LOL! You might need to turn up your volume to hear him. And be sure to watch his hands, he taps his hands to the beat on his knees. Its so cute!

Memorial Day Weekend...Take 3

Well, I am glad to say that our 3rd day of fun was ER free! This post is 2-in-1 so be sure to scroll all the way through this one! Tim and Brad took the boys to play 9 holes of golf while Lisa and I ran to the store for a few things. Yes, I said that Brad and Tim took Peyton and Kainaan to play 9 holes of golf...and the boys LOVED it! The report was that they played great and was very well behaved and had no meltdowns! WOW! We sent them with a camera to get the proof, and the pictures are too sweet! Kainaan and Peyton look like Mini-Me's of their Daddies! Here are 3 pics before they left the house, but click on the link below to see all 21 pictures of their golfing experience.

After we all got back to the house, we grilled out and played around in the back yard for a while...before the crazy storm came. We were shocked that it made it over the mountains...we usually do not get any good storms because the mountains always block it out. It did get windy and we got a good 20 minute downpour. But anyways, check out the pictures below to see the rest of our visit with our friends. And then click on the link below to see the last 35 pictures.

A nice freakish storm making its way to us!

Memorial Day Weekend...Take 2

Yesterday started out as a great day! We went to the Little Ponderosa Petting Zoo, and the boys had a ball! We got to feed and pet a bunch of animals. We even got to see a Zonkey! A what, you ask?? Yep, a Zonkey...half zebra, half donkey! It was interesting! And we got to see a baby Cavy only 2 days old, and while we were there, another one was born! But the best part of the whole day was while the boys were riding the ponies. So here is the story...Kainaan and Peyton are on the ponies and Brad and Tim are walking next to them. They are in this pinned in area and lisa and I are on the outside of taking pictures. The whole time this is going on, the owner's Australian Shepard puppy was playing and chasing the ducks and geese. It was all fun and games until I look to my left and see the commotion! The dog was chasing the goose, the goose turned and started hissing and extended its wings out and started chasing the dog! All I could see was huge white feathers and a big open beak hissing at the dog, and they are coming straight for us! They were running up on us so fast and I didn't think they were going to go around us! I started pushing Lisa to get out of the way, and she was trying to figure out where to go! Lisa said all she saw was my eyes as big as saucers and feathers flying! LOL!! It was great! The guys wished they would have had the video camera on us! It would have only been about 4 or 5 seconds of chaos, but it was hilarious!
Anyways, we came home, showered, and we were off to the Japanese Steak House for some great food! Yummy! Then , as you noticed from my post before this one, we had to detour to the
Emergency Room!
Oh what a day! It was awesome!
So, I put 7 pics below to give you a taste of our day, but click on the link below or copy and paste the link in your web browser.

Its a Zonkey!

Hello Little Fellow!

Little boys and their fascination with lizards and snakes!

In case you are wondering, there was a train track behind the zoo and a train had to pass while we were there. So that is what's zooming by behind the trees. The animals were second best while the train was passing!

Yummy food!

Just before Kainaan's little incident...

Kainaan's First ER Visit

Well, I must say we finally did it. We have now joined the millions of other parents that take trips to the ER. Tonight, we went to the Japanese place with Lisa, Brad, & Peyton and was having a wonderful time, just like the rest of our day had gone, when towards the end, the boys wanted to go look at this Japanese Warrior Costume in a glass case. No big deal, right? WRONG! Kainaan was trying to catch up to Brad and Peyton and tripped on his feet. He did a face plant on the glass case! Luckily, the glass didn't break and cut him up, but the wooden ledge on the bottom was not so forgiving to Kainaan's nose. Brad picked him up and turned towards us at the table, as we were all looking at the 3 of them trying to see what that loud bang was that we had just heard. That's when we realized it was Kainaan's head smacking the glass and he had blood running down his face. I think it took all of 5 seconds to see his nose swell! It got big quick! That's when we decided to go ahead and get him checked out at the ER. We thought for sure it was broken...BUT ITS NOT! Can you believe that!? He is going to be okay! He might have a black eye or 2 in the morning and be sore, but that's it! He...and WE got very lucky!
And I must say that I stayed calm for the whole time! I never went nuts trying to gather our stuff at the table and I never freaked out in front of Kainaan with all of the blood...I was cool, calm, and collected! Mommy instincts are awesome! Tim was okay...I think he got a little panicky for a second or 2, but he was great, too! Except for immediately saying that Kainaan tripped because of his shoes...grrr! Excuse me, the cute leather sandals that I just bought him didn't make him trip! He is 3, all boy, and was running where he shouldn't have been running! But anyways, I had let that comment go for the moment! Tim said he wasn't directly blaming me, but helloooo? I bought him the shoes for summer and I picked them out for tonight with his outfit. What else could Tim have been referring to? Oh well, I know that everything will always be Mommy's fault. Isn't that how it works?
Anyways, my baby is going to fine, and he was acting like his normal self by the time we left the ER. But I will keep everyone posted if anything changes...even though I don't look for it to.

Oh and one more thing...yes, I had my camera with me, and yes, I took pics while we were in the ER. As always, I always get my shot! :-)

I guess the pics don't do it justice...it looked much worse in person. He just got really lucky!

Poor baby! He was so upset! But he was in Daddy's arms, Mommy was chopped liver until he wanted me to kiss it! Its was too sweet. He looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, "Mommy kissy nose."

I was trying to entertain him with a blown up glove. The Nurse gave him a bunch of stickers, and the other nurse gave him band-aids for him and his frog blanket...the frog had some blood on his head, so Kainaan had to put a band-aid on him, too! :-)

Memorial Day Weekend...Take 1

So Brad, Lisa, & Peyton got here at 130 AM on Saturday...YAY!! And after we all got a few hours of sleep, the Guys went to play golf and Lisa and myself got stuck with the kids...there is just something wrong with that! :-) Just kidding, Lisa and I escaped when Brad & Tim got back. We went and had a mani/pedi WITH a glass of wine and then went to Bonefish Grill for a big girl meal. But what good would a girl's afternoon be without a little shopping!? Anyways, back to earlier that day with Kainaan & Peyton...we had them playing outside for almost 4 hours! They started in the backyard and we made our way to the front yard and driveway. Those little boys had a blast! Here are a few pics below, but click on this link or copy and paste to see ALL 84 pictures of them!

Hunter, Kainaan, & Chuck E. Cheese

Yep, we are gluttons for punishment! No, not really...it was Hunter's actual birthday, so we had to celebrate! Everything was wonderful...until it was time to leave. Hmmm! Yeah, it was a complete meltdown with crying and throwing books at my head while driving!! Yeah, I will not dwell on that, but I rest my case on why I avoid things like that normally!

Anyways, I took tons of pics, as always! Its way too many to post, so click on the link below!

Kainaan and Hunter are PRECIOUS! They really are little friends! :-)

Keepin' Up with Hunter Bug

Just a couple of weeks ago, Alison asked me to take some pictures of Hunter since he was turning 2...already!! So we went to Downtown Knoxville and let him run wild! It was so fun! I ran around (like a crazy person)and snapped picture after picture. Here are just a few of the pics that I think turned out pretty darn good! Enjoy!
