A Sunday Drive Through Cade's Cove

Sunday afternoon was a great day for a drive through Cade's Cove with our friends, TJ and Karissa. We got to see a bunch of deer, and the bears we did see where on our way back to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Its only the 3rd time in 3 years that we have even seen bears. Now besides that, we got to walk aronud the old grist mill area and found a cute Mommy Bird in her nest. But what was so cool was that she built her nest with mud and straw on the side of a wall! She is pretty talented! :-) The day was fun, but fighting the gnats were horrible! Okay enough of my jabbering, enjoy the pics!

3 sitting ducks

He was so happy not being strapped in his car seat. Its okay! Nobody freak out! You are in a National Park, driving an 11 mile loop, one-way at 5 mph! Its safe!

He got tired of sitting in the back with me, so off to the front he went. He loved it!

Look! Here she is! Pretty cool, huh?

A doe, a deer, a female deer...

Look at that little baby! His little horns still have fuzz on them!

Look its 2 of the 3 bears! It was Momma Bear and her 2 cubs!

This is one tuckered out little boy!
