Enjoy the pics!
Kainaan, The Mad Scientist
Turn this, push that...
In the tunnel under the water tank, Kainaan says, "Oh My Goodness" as the sharks swim over.
Look closely, there is the only sea turtle our aquarium has. He's hard to photograph!
Since it was a school/work day for people, the aquarium was empty (which was so fun and relaxing) so I was able to ask a worker about this. The story goes...This was the 1st day the aquarium opened, and the sharks were not used to people being under them and being so close. So it made them swim fast with their mouths open toward the people and the rammed into the glass causing scratches. Cool story, huh? That would have been so cool to see!
*And another story about the sharks...Tim asked if the sharks ever eat the little fish swimming with them. The answer...Yep! It happens regularly, but they try to control it by over feeding the sharks. Why can't that happen when we are there? That would be....educational??
He is so curious!
Oooooooooo Barracuda! I love that song by Heart and sing it to myself every time we get to these guys! Yeah, I know, I am goofy!
I can't remember what type of fish this is but it was in the tank with the Blow fish. Is it the ugliest fish ever of what!?!?
Yeah lets get another look...Nope...still ugly!
Kainaan loved pressing the buttons. It told about the different parts of a fish.
LOL! He wasn't expecting it to talk!
Very cool looking venomous fish!
This fish is so pretty and different.
NEMOOOOOO!!!!
Back to the talking fish!
Pretty Seahorse!
Can't remember his name...
This guy is now the oldest fish in the tank, of his species, his friend died a month ago. I noticed the big guy, that never moved, was not in his usual spot, so I asked where he was and that's when we were told that he died. I can't be sure but I think the worker told us he was over 100 years old when he died! Cool, huh?
The boy loves to play with anything with a steering wheel!
Looks like a stick bug, but a stick fish! Haha!
Peek-A-Boo!
