A day in the life of...: Sniffling, Sneezing, & Coughing...Oh My!

Hello everyone! Sorry its been a few days since I posted something, but we have been dealing with a sick kid since Friday night...ugh! We ended up at the Dr.'s office on Monday, and after a urine test (yeah, that was fun trying to get Kainaan to pee in a cup when he is still not potty trained...but we managed and made a mess) and blood test, we have a viral infection. Great...just let it run its course, I have grown to hate those words! Oh, and he was dehydrated. Oh boy! So we are supposed to give Tylenol and Motrin to a sick boy that gags and throws up the medicine...yeah, right! Oh but wait, it gets better...Mommy got to go buy Tylenol SUPPOSITORIES and KY Jelly. HAHA!! Needless to say, we are both upset about this. YUCK! Man, nobody tells you about this crap when you are pregnant! Thanks everyone!!
So to top it all off, Tuesday he starts feeling better, but Tuesday night we were back at square one! His fever spiked up with a vengeance. What!?!? Fever for 5 days?? SOOOOOO, off to the Dr. again! This time, he has a secondary infection from the viral infection which is now causing a double ear infection. Ugh! And I am now fighting a sore throat and sneezing. Yea, Mommy's turn! So, Kainaan has an antibiotic to take (wish us luck since he throws up medicine now) and I have dayquil and nyquil.
Life is just peachy!!
But I had to post these pics from the other night. Tim was not feeling well and fell asleep on the couch. Kainaan was feeling OK and was putting stickers all over his face and shirt. But why do that to yourself when there is an easy target asleep on the couch. HAHA!!
