Our 1st Date on Friday the 13th

So, let's go back to February 13, 2004. It was Friday the 13th! I was working the 2-930 shift at Dillard's, and Tim said he would take me to eat on my break. So he picked me up at work and we went to eat at Applebee's (it was close to my work). Things were great! And we decided that when I got off from work, I would go to his house and change clothes so we could go out to a bar and meet up with Uncle Mike, Aunt Sonya, and Shelly.
Well, plans changed. I called him on my way to his house and he said that he was sick and may even go to the ER...are you kidding me? He's pulling this lame excuse already and going as far as the ER? Well, I thought maybe he had another girl coming over, so I was going to test him. I asked to come to his house anyways so that I could at least change. I was thinking I could catch him in a lie. But he really was moving funny. He didn't want to tell me what was wrong because he was embarrassed, but I finally got it out of him. He had a huge bump right where the band of boxers would rub. It looked painful. So being the thoughtful person that I am, I went to the ER with him instead of going to the bar. Awwww! How sweet, I know! LOL!
Anyways, so our first date was sitting in the ER, playing black jack for pennies. He ended up getting the infected hair lanced and packed with gauze! OUCH! He really wasn't kidding. Then after endless hours there, we had to drive all the way to West Monroe to the 24 hour pharmacy to get his meds filled. By this point, it was around 1230 AM! WE finally got back to his place around 130 AM and I couldn't leave him in pain. So we watched Varsity Blues and Van Wilder! (This is where it all began with our obsession with Varsity Blues). After our movies, it was soooo late! I still had to drive all the way to Bastrop! I got to Shelly's around 6 AM (I think), and slept for about an hour, then I had to get up, and get ready for work! I had to work from 930-6!! OMG! What a long day!?!? What the hell was thinking!? It was love, I guess.
This was our first trip to New Orleans together. March 2004
