PS- And for anyone who knows what our across-the-street neighbor's driveway looks like...I got to watch them try driving up their driveway and sliding back down...DUH!!! So they had to park on our slanted street...LOL!

Its SNOWING In Knox-Vegas!!
Well, we got our 1st snow. Its not much, but we were told by neighbors that if we had snow flurries before Thanksgiving (and we did) then it usually means we will have a pretty good chance at snow for the winter. And well, its starting to prove right! Tim left for work at 7 AM and it was just wet from raining all night. But when I went in living room at 720, I turned on the Christmas tree lights, and pulled the blinds open...and OMG!! It looked like a blizzard! I was shocked! So after pics, I had to decide if I could get out of the neighborhood to get Kainaan to school. It was rough, but once I got out of the neighborhood and 2 miles down the road, it was nothing! Just rain! But at least my neighborhood looked pretty! And its still here...sort of. The roads and drive-ways are slush now. Its been snowing off and on all day...but nothing like this morning. Anyways, enjoy the pics. And I will post the rest of Thanksgiving pics later.

So pretty!! we're jealous!
Sweetie,
Your husband needs to give you a lesson on blizzards...this does not look like one. :) It's very beautiful..and I wish ours would stick like yours (it's snowing here also...but not sticking) but not a blizzard! :) HA! And I can only imagine your neighbors trying to use their driveway!! UM...snow and ice and steep driveways do NOT mix! You need to get Kainaan out to play in it before it goes away! Snow is meant to be played in, not looked at!!! :)
Hey Wendy.
For a true South Louisiana girl...it was blizzard-like. And Tim said the same thing at lunch when the snow started coming down at the office. Fortunately, it was melting off by the time Kainaan got out of school so we didn't get to go outside and freeze. As for the neighbors...I can't believe they even tried it. I thought that was crazy!
