Where's Memo?

Well, it was a sad day, on Sunday, when we arrived home from our trip to Hattiesburg. Not only were we sad to be home and away from our friends, but we were also sad to see (and smell) our fish, Memo. He died while we were gone. We were surprised, because he had a clean bowl and enough food for 7 days. The house was not hot enough to make his water too hot...I guess it was just his time to be flushed. Poor baby, he was alone in final moments. I had grown quite attached to Memo. (His name was actually Nemo-Kainaan's doing-But Kainaan says it as "Memo") He was sort of trained...everytime you would walk by his bowl, he would go to the side closest to you and beg for food. You know, he'd jerk from side to side really fast, and doing his 'fish" face and his eyes looked like they were going to bug out of his head if he didn't get food immediately! He was good begger. And a pig! That fish could eat!
Anyways, Kainaan has not even noticed. So, you can tell how interested he was! Although, Kainaan was quick to tell us when Memo needed a bath. Well, here's to Memo. He lasted with us from February to August. Not bad for a 74 cent fish from Wal-Mart.

In Loving Memory of Memo Wroblewski.
PS- About an hour after I posted this, Kainaan could see the empty fish bowl that had just been washed in the dishwasher. So now he sees that his fish is gone. So we said that Memo had to go to his own house in the water. He's gone, gone. So he says, "Memo go house in water. Memo gone, gone. Bye-bye Memo." So that went well. Its so great he's too young to understand, no tears this way.
Nemo swimming happily in his 2 different bowls. Yeah, He was spoiled! :-)
